At the Whole School we value the importance of Outdoor education and play. In addition to our regular school outdoor classes and nature excursions, our Friday Outdoor Leadership program is focused on outdoor leadership, environmental stewardship, sustainable practices, and the importance of Nature. This helps to support emotional, behavioral, and intellectual development.
Students who learn outdoors develop: a stronger sense of self, independence, confidence, creativity, decision-making and problem-solving skills, empathy towards others, motor skills, self-discipline and initiative.
